10 Brilliant Ads That Are All Just Words
Via Switzerland. Some times, all you need is text to tell a story that sells. Clever campaign for a Swiss life insurance company, especially considering how deadly dull their industry's ads usually are. The other ads in the campaign rival this in making you think.

Axis of Evi… Good
Internet.org is a global partnership between technology leaders, nonprofits, local communities and experts who are working together to bring the internet to the two thirds of the world’s population that doesn’t have it. Two-thirds of logo's "globe" is cut off from the other third with the web's ubiquitous backslash key. Clever.

the poster for james bond's skyfall is shown in this black and white photo
Great poster for "Skyfall," Daniel Craig's return as Bond, James Bond. The poster shows him walking down the iconic rifled gun barrel in a sharp suit with a pistol in his hand. And, the stark black-and-white imagery seems to confirm that this installment coming in November will be a darker, harder-edged Bond than we've seen in the past. (via Jordan)

there is a billboard on the side of the road advertising its a chalice, not a glass

Stella Artois “She is a thing of beauty” 2012 ad campaign The Belgian beer’s slogan “It’s a chalice, not a glass” draws comparisons to the (fictional) Don Draper campaign for Kodak’s new slide projector in the first season of “Mad Men”: “It’s not a wheel, it’s a carousel.” In both cases, something very basic and functional is elevated to a treasure reeking of nostalgia. the movie poster for 360 with an image of a woman's face and four different faces
This poster is the best visualization I’ve seen of an episodic, Crash- and Babel-like ensemble piece, with characters’ lives intersecting with one another to form one cohesive, intertwined story. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1680045/ (via Jordan)
