Maratha Architecture - Raigad Reconstructed in the movie Chhaava as per the most precise measurements of the original Imperial Bhonsale Palace with authentic Maratha Kelful-embellished Wooden Pillars. The glorious Raigad Palace of the Raghuvanshi Bhonsale Chattrapati Empire was looted and destroyed by the Mughal invaders in 1689. It had the finest wooden carvings in the world, inset with gems and precious metal coats. Only the stone layout remains today.
