Marzio Cecchi Cantilevered Bed Frame For Studio Most, Italy, 1960s
Rare red enamel cantilever bed frame by visionary architect Marzio Cecchi (b1940 – 1990). Produced by his design practice Studio Most, his pieces were limited run made-to-order, and so are highly scarce and collectible. Cecchi could be said to be a practitioner of ‘total design’ – from a building’s structure to the objects in its interior.

A never-produced nightstand, Storet by Acerbis, joins a reissued pillar-style chest of drawers, both originally visualized in 1994 by the late Italian architect/artist Nanda Vigo—and now offered with eye-catching lacquer. Available in black ash or dark-stained walnut veneers, designers can pick between eight glossy lacquers for drawer handles. #artdesign #designideas
