Vintage 1900s Ward Silver Double Edge Safety Razor With A Finger Ring Handle 2 Blades and Blade Case In The Original Black Leather Box

This is a 1900s Ward silver double edge safety razor with a finger ring handle, 2 blades and blade case in the original black leather box. The one piece razor has an engine turned handle with an open ring at the end. There is a spring loaded pointed cylinder that can be pushed back to load the razor blade. There is an unused paper wrapped blade and a used blade. There is a black cardboard blade box. The inside of the case is purple velvet. *I am very new to the world of safety razors and do try to correctly identify them. That said, the variety of razors is mind boggling and I may very well be wrong in my identification.* The razor, blades, box and case are in good vintage condition. The razor has a dark patina. The razor works as it should. On the razor, the top is stamped Patent Apld For. The razors are stamped Ward Safety Razor 801 W 12-07 56. The outside of the top of case is stamped with a very faint Ward Safety Razor, The Ward Safety Razor Co, Chicago. The outside of the bottom of the case is stamped Ward Safety Razor Price $4.00.
