Liminal Art
“Veiled Silhouettes” is an original oil painting on canvas that is a collection of recorded shadows of plant life from the scenic landscape surrounding my summer studio. I collected some of the branches from nearby trees and bushes, dipped them in a mixture of acrylic paint, thinned down with coffee (yes, coffee) for a dark umber under painting for the shadows.
