Nov 7, 2024 - Clusia should be watered once every week or so, depending on where the plant is kept. Aim to make the soil moist but not soggy. Water your Clusia when the top two inches of soil are dry. These plants are hardy and will be forgiving to the odd period of less frequent watering. Clusia rosea like bright light and in tropical climates, thrive under full sun while outdoors. Grown indoors as houseplants, they will cope with moderate light levels and some degree of shade. Clusia rosea prefers lightly moist soil but can tolerate short periods of drought. Monthly during the growing season. I prefer to use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer, made up at half strength. Prefers medium to high humidity, but quite tolerant of a range of humidity levels.
