Self-taught artist Danny Fox was born in St.Ives, Cornwall, a seaside town made famous by its numerous artist residents. Despite moving from the town many years ago, Danny’s cornish lineage remains visible in his work, most pertinently in the parallels between his oil paintings and the so-called “naive” work of 19th Century fishman-painter Alfred Wallis, who also lived for a time in St Ives.
