Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon 🥔🥬🥓
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces 🥬
4 cups baby potatoes (or 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced) 🥔
6 slices bacon, chopped 🥓
1 onion, diced 🧅
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix 🌿
1 cup chicken broth 🍗
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 🌿
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary 🌿
Salt and pepper, to taste 🧂
2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, if needed) 🫒
Instructions:
Cook the Bacon:
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set it aside, leaving the drippings in the pan. 🥓🔥
Sauté the Aromatics:
In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the diced onion.
