Samil Lagoon in Kumgang, North Korea (DPRK). Kumgangsan, meaning Diamond Mountain, offers some of the most breath-taking views in Korea with a vast array of steep mountains, valleys and waterfalls. Samil Lagoon is located in the area of Mount Kumgang known as Sea Kumgang, towards the east coast and close to South Korea.
