London's traffic in 1911. Red is trade, pink is passenger vehicles. Total for Old Kent Road (to the southeast) was 12k vehicles between 8am and 8pm: 2,000 cycles 1,200 electric trams 400 barrows 200 "passenger motor carriages" ...most of the rest was horse drawn...
