Make damaged painting beautiful with collage!
Difficulty: Medium I love the ancient Japanese practice called Kintsugi. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s the centuries old practice of repairing broken ceramics with gold, and in so doing, making the object more beautiful. I decided to apply this concept to my painting: this painting was returned to me by a gallery, punctured. It was my favourite piece in the series: I love the colors and the depth, and wasn’t ready to discard it.
