A well carved ivory netsuke of a mokugyo, by Gyokushû. Late 19th century. The handle in the shape of two dragons holding a pearl in their mouths, their scaly bodies rendered as a decorative pattern. Signed Gyokushû. En suite a miniature version of the netsuke as ojime with a spurious signature reading Gyokushû but written with a different second character.
