Julie Combal, Surface Light, oil on canvas and gold leaf. -Again, here we see my love for the use of many values within one color.  -I bounce back and forth as to whether or not I like the one larger fleck of gold, or if I'd like to see more. Although, this one fleck definitely creates a focal point.  -This painting reminds me of clouds in a way, especially with the upper half with the soft scumbling of the brush.
