Hayley @purenourishment on Instagram: "Using colour to create a thread through a house is a simple way of tying the rooms together, and Katsuri Wren (@wrenandwhippet ) has chosen a beautiful olive green, to adorn ceilings, floors and panelling of her cottage renovation, in Coolah NSW, Australia. In fact I’m calling it olive, but it’s also a light khaki, anyway it’s a gorgeously delicious green. She cleverly used it to lower the ceiling in the guest bedroom, making the space feel at once cosy and fresh, with the white shiplap walls. If you swipe to see the olive painted panelling, paired perfectly with a lovely navy cushion and a beautiful brown dog; suddenly my new favourite colour combination! And on the final image, you can see that she’s painted the floor in large olive and white checks

Abi Hugo | Interiors, Upcycling & DIY on Instagram: "ad | With the kids back at school, I finally had time to reclaim my office from summer chaos – and what better way than with a fun IKEA Moppe hack! 🙌 I used my @dremel_uk for almost every step of this transformation, and honestly, I couldn’t have done it without it! 🛠️ I started by using the Dremel drill bit to create perfect pilot holes for the legs I had leftover from a previous project. Then, I swapped in the flex shaft and sanding bit to scuff-sand all the intricate details on the legs ready for a coat of paint. ✨ After glueing the cabinets together and adding fluted wood panelling to the drawer fronts using my Dremel glue gun, I used the Dremel again to drill precise holes for the handles. When the screws were slightly too big,

Gemma on Instagram: "I put a poll on stories the other day and the most popular question was how much it cost to make my built in larder cupboard. So here’s a breakdown. It ended up costing about 10% of what it would have cost for someone to make it for me! (Which of course would have been much higher quality but wasn’t a practical option for us). All wood and sheet materials were from @selcobw Screws, pins, hinges, drawer runners were @screwfix_uk Skirting and coving from @bandq_uk Spice racks @ikeauk Painted in Gresham Blue from @makeitrustoleum which I had left over from painting the kitchen cabinets. . . . . #larder #pantrycupboard #builtin #kitchendesign #diykitchen #girlswhodiy"
