How To Paint with Lime Wash Paint 💕
Difficulty: Medium Supplies • Bucket • Water • Kalklitir paint • Long haired paint brush How to paint with lime based paint ✨ For this tutorial I used Kalklitir paint in the colour Nudo Grigio. However, the techniques used to paint can be used for most limewash paints. Step 1 - Mix 1.7litres of water per 1kg bag of powdered paint Step 2 - Give the paint a good mix for about 10mins Step 3 - Make sure your surface is dry and clean Step 4 - Use a long haired brush to apply the paint in X stroke actions. Step 5 - Leave to dry between 2-6 hours Don’t be scared at this point it will look awful and you have to keep saying to yourself TRUST THE PROCESS!! Step 6 - Apply second coat, I opted for cloud like strokes to increase the textured finish. You can also apply in
