Using Play as a Reward When Training Your Dog
When you take your dog out for a walk, or you ask them to do something in the house, when they do well- stop and play for a minute or two. You can chuck some food that they have to run around and get or play with a rope toy or play some fetch if they enjoy that! Playing games will build a desire to work with you because coming to you, sitting, staying, etc become PART of the game!
