1860s Red, Blue & Green Plaid Bodice make star 1865 -1870 Red, blue and green plaid womans bodice [Cotton] Overview: This 1860s blue and green plaid bodice is made from lightweight silk fabric. It is trimmed with black cotton velvet ribbon. The lining is glazed linen. Some seams on this garment have been machine stitched, but most of the bodice has been made and trimmed by hand.

Pleasing green sprig printed cotton voile, bodice only, dating to the 1860's With cotton inner bodice, exterior bodice closes with tinyest crochet button, piping thruout with dropped voluminous sleeves. In excellent uncleaned antique as found all original condition. Chest measures 32", waist 22", length from shoulders 15". Small collection out of Vermont estate
