A6 Journal hand-bound by Kate Bowles. This hard cover book has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. All the pages are: hand folded, torn (to create the deckle edge), folded again and then sewn together by hand. I have left the spine exposed The book can be secured with white elastic, attached to the book with a vintage linen laundry button. 120 pages: 10 signatures, or 60 folios (folded pages), of assorted scavenged and 100% recycled papers.

This technique would work nicely with manilla envelopes for storage of pictures, important papers etc. Back it with a spine board and covers and you could label them, too!
