I wanted to include this brass handrail by Uno Tomoaki. In order to pass safety tests, most stairs need to have rails, but these can often look ugly and clutter up the design. This inside handrail, circular and supported by simple connectors, is understated but makes a statement at the same time. It shows how material choice can transform a design so much. This would look great in a burnished steel too.
