Otter quilt

After yesterday's post I was reminiscing about my pattern testing for Juliet of Tartankiwi....wondering how many of her designs I had sewn over the years. According to my blog diary (!) the first one I ever tested was the Fantail, back in 2013. I love this wee bird, it's a common sight here flitting around the trees and gardens. I was at a local quilt retreat his weekend and made good progress on my latest project. Back in October I shared that I was collecting fabrics for the North Stars quilt by Elizabeth Hartman and I started working on it at my Tuesday sewing group in mid January.
