There are still places today where we can see remnants of the past, and Nick Sullivan's images of historic photos reunited with their modern locations help us find these places. Sullivan, who is also Esquire's fashion director, finds historic photos of London, Paris and New York and then finds their actual locations.

These colorized versions of black and white photographs allow you to look at a piece of history with a different eye.

A lot of old photos have a textured appearance. Some are so bad they look like they were printed on a heavy watercolor paper, which is a very artsy effect, I'm sure, just not to everyone's taste! Texture can be corrected, especially if it isn't too terribly deep, and here's a super easy way to do it!
