I’ve had my @bonnieplants lavender plant for four years now, and it’s still producing a bountiful harvest of flowers for me! And feeding it @drearthorganics has definitely helped it to thrive, highly recommend! Follow these steps to make your own beautiful wreath; 🪻 First, harvest your lavender before it blooms. Be careful not to cut into the woody stems which could prevent regrowth and injure the plant. 🪻 Remove the leaves from the stems by simply holding the stem, and pulling downward. I find wearing gloves for this process is nice because lavender produces A LOT of oil. A few tips while making lavender wreaths: 🪻Harvest lavender before it blooms. 🪻Using your wreath form, take a floral wire and wrap around a few times to get started. Grab a handful of lavender and place on the wreath, wrapping with the floral wire tightly as you go. Continue to add lavender bunches covering the stems of previous layer. You may want to trim stems as you go as well. Repeat until the wreath is covered and then cut your wire and twist to secure. 🪻If using fresh herbs, alternate lavender and herbs into pattern of choice. I used a combination of sage, thyme, rosemary and eucalyptus. 🪻Keep in dark, dry and warm location as it dries out.
