We needed more storage space without adding more furniture to a small room. This bunk bed with storage hack, from start to finish, was all done in one day.

We decided on the Kura bed from IKEA but put a double bed underneath for reading bedtime stories. There isn't much headroom for adults but it's great for the kids. They LOVE it! I was also pleasantly surprised by the bedding at IKEA. These two duvets have different prints (polka dots for my daughter and trucks for my son) but the colors coordinate.
