Use sentences (or words) from your #ortongillingham or @ufliteracy lessons. 

The “headbands” are old bulletin board borders. The sentences are taken from our OG lessons. I wrote them on strips of card stock and passed them out. Each student used a clothespin to attach their sentence. They walked around reading 4-5 sentences. Then I had them pair up with the last partner they were with. On whiteboards or paper they dictated the sentence that was on their partner’s headband for them  to write out.
