We sanded down the nightstands so the paint adhered better. 2. Spray painted with a white matte primer 3. Roll painted with a white matte paint 4. Purchased "shelf" wood from home depo and stained Cherry Brown 5. Wood Glued the wood onto the top of the nightstand 6. Installed fixtures from Amazon
