Michelle 🌱 GardensandChickens🐓 Gardener | plant nerd on Instagram: "Here’s a tip to keep your mint and mojitos flowing all season long because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard:  “I’m such a bad gardener, I can’t even keep mint alive”  I don’t understand the scientifical reason behind the mint cut back phenomenon… but every year around this time of year; if I don’t cut back my mint it basically tries to die on me. Once I cut it back, it regrows beautifully.   This likely only applies to mint in containers, WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY YOU SHOULD GROW MINT.
