More silk-sea and long-exposure experiments. I went down to the docks, trying to get some minimal landscape photos. But unfortunately, and strangely the Icelandic winter darkness was to bright for a decent long exposure, even with my -2 stop polarizing filter. So instead of giving in and go home, I decided to point the camera downwards, at the waves braking on the rocks. Foggy Ocean

This is a walkway over a steaming hot spring in Rotorua, New Zealand. As I started down the path, the wind whipped up and started to lift the thick steam and blow it over the curved walkway, so I snapped this shot to catch the eerie effect. Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as most "favorited" (according to flickr). See where the photo was taken at maps.yuan.cc/. Fly to this location (requires Google Earth)
