The taxi drops us off in what seems like the back garden of the back of beyond, stirringly wild, with artichokes swaying in the breeze, and pick-your-own gooseberries, and an old JCB, at rest

Our store is a treasure trove of authentic and inspired French antiques, with a fashion boutique and our very own cafe filled with fresh bakes and coffee that will take you straight to France. Our store is located inside an old charming church hall offering us nearly 200m2 of tantalizing space.

There are many unexpected places in New Zealand and this was one of them, literally tucked in the middle of nowhere, located in Glenbrook this restaurant is surrounded by farms on every side. An oasis in the middle of lush farm greeneries this place surprised me. I dined in here...

Glenforsa cafe and farm shop, immersed in the scenic Isle of Mull, the design celebrates natures natural materials, flowing sinuous organic forms and raw tactile textures. Breaking free of the standard new polished aesthetic, the cafe showcases the beauty in reclaimed finishes being repurposed. Steered by the sunnier scottish days the cafe palette is a light, fresh and most importantly welcoming environment for customers.

From a humble offering of coffee and scones on a trestle table, The Farm Cafe at the Collingwood Children’s Farm is now one of the busiest outdoor cafes in Melbourne. We chat to owners Pip and Tom Hay about how it happened.
