Deep in Mynn Forest lies the town of Vedrfolnir, capital of the Jarldom of Arendal and home of Jarl Arkyn. The road through the forest is dangerous and the nearby mountains is home to a giant bird of prey, and rumor says that Arkyn has control over it.

In the foothills of the Gynardan Mountains lies the small village of Dargan. Its community consist mostly of woodcutters and miners who work in the mines in the Gynard Canyon to the south. The people of Dargan are very secluded and like living that way. When outsiders come to town they should not expect a warm welcome. The Mage Tower of Harvess is a small school that specializes in training wizards. It was founded by Varakh Markand some 500 years ago. Varakh was one of the mightiest wizards of his time and build the tower as a home and place to teach his children in the ways of magic. His son Dorros followed in his father's footsteps and continued teaching magic, not only to his kin, but any who sought to learn.
