Now on view at Guggenheim in New York, ‘Anthem’ by Wu Tsang is an exhibition conceived in close collaboration with Beverly Glenn-Copeland. Harnessing the Guggenheim’s cathedral-like acoustics, the site-specific installation revolves around an immense curtain sculpture suspended from the oculus. Improvising and singing passages of his music, a film-portrait of Glenn-Copeland is projected onto the elegant light sheer curtain textile Powder.
