A simple DIY makeover of a builder grade entryway coat closet.

We removed the hanger rod and replaced it with coat hooks. Added two shoe organizers bought from Home Depot. Added a 2nd shelf above the first for additional storage.

To be honest, our coat closet wasn't really that bad which is why it wasn't all that high on our priority list. It just wasn't all that cute. But you know us, we can't resist a little project! So we emptied the closet and our house looked like this for a couple of days.
