BRAIN & BODY HEALTH on Instagram: "Reading Hurdles? The ATNR Reflex Connection! 🔎📖

Struggling to turn the page on your child’s reading progress? The culprit could be a hidden reflex known as ATNR!

🔍 What’s This Reflex?

The ATNR plays a role in attention span and eye control – crucial for reading.
Crawled less, walked early? This reflex might still be hanging around.

🧪 Quick Test at Home

Stand Up: Have your child stand with arms out front.
Eyes Shut: Close those peepers.
Head Turn: Gently turn their head side to side.
Arm Watch: Do the arms bend with the head? That’s ATNR!

💪 Fun Fix: Wall Bangers

This game involves looking from side to side, then playfully ‘banging’ against the wall.
Great for turning off the ATNR, boosting eye control, and sharpening focus.
