I tasted a marquise au chocolat for the first time on the terrace of Café Cherrier. Located in the heart of Montréal’s Plateau neighbourhood, the restaurant has been offering classic French fare for 40 years. My meal dates back 15 years, but the dessert left an indelible mark.
