So I told you a couple weeks ago how I had changed Pixie, my 10 year old Chihuahua over to Purina ProPlan Bright Mind, a specially formulated food to increase cognitive awareness in adult dogs (age 7 and older.)

One of the smallest dog breeds today is the Chihuahua with long hair. They are usually between 3 and 6 pounds and are between 6 and 9 inches tall.

As the name implies, an Apple Head Chihuahua has a well-rounded and dome-like head – just like an apple. They have short jaws and short snouts. Apple Head Chis also have large, round eyes that tend to stand out from their relatively small faces.
