An EKG measures the electrical activity in the heart. This illustrates what is happening on each part of the EKG. This is something that you will need to remember. You won't always see everything in an EKG. Remember.... bigger & stronger wins the race! For example.... the atria repolarize during the QRS, but you will not see that since the impulse from the ventricles is stronger.
