Of tapering spherical form, the body overall enameled with scrolling foliage and foliates on a stippled gilt ground; the neck of spout, base and hinged lid enameled with interlocking geometrical designs. Hallmarked Moscow circa 1890, indistinguishable maker’s mark, probably GK for Gustav Klingert and 84 silver standard. Height 5 inches (12.7 cm), width 8.5 inches (21.5 cm).
