True love is a theme that is clearly expressed throughout the novel. Elizabeth and Darcy are able to establish a love-hate relationship early in the novel. However, in the end Darcy shows his love for Elizabeth by trying to make a mends. He is able to pay Mr. Wickham off since he ran away with Lydia and help Mr. Bingley win back Jane. They are finally united as husband and wife and she becomes Mrs. Darcy.
